Since entering the House of the Year Awards in 1998, we have won an award with every home entered with a total of over 50 awards to the D.J. Hewitt Team. Thank you to my loyal and passionate team for making this happen.
2009 House of the Year
The Wilson House won the gold award in the over $1m category and best overall bathroom, and has since been awarded Gold Reserve so will compete at the National awards in Auckland in November.

At the 2007 Registered Master Builders House of the Year Awards we were awarded 4 Gold awards for our 4 Homes entered, a 100% Gold record!

We won the Builder's Own Home Award (again!) in 2005, as well as a Gold Reserve for the Kerr home in the category $600,000 - $1 million and four other awards.
In 2006 we won 12 awards, notably the Chambers house, which won a total of six awards, including:
Gold Award as category winner, New Homes $600,000 - $1 million
National Gold Reserve.
The Ahn house in Bishopdale was a Gold Reserve National Finalist Award in the category New Homes $450,000 - $600,000.
The O'Neil Home won Gold at the 2006 Canterbury House of the Year.
The Cook Home won a Gold Award at the 2006 Canterbury House of the Year.
The Hargen Home won Silver at the 2006 Canterbury House of the Year.
