Friday night was another great night for Chris and the D.J. Hewitt Team with Chris winning the 2008 Apprentice of the Year for Canterbury. Well done Chris and all those who have helped him along his journey. In the 4 years the awards have been running we have had Pierre Win in 2005, Daniel was 4th 2006 and Rebecca 3rd last year. Well Done all.


At this years 2008 Canterbury House of the Year Awards we were awarded 1 Gold award and 2 Silver awards.
In over $1m Category our Smith Home won a Gold award and our Beirne Home and O Neil Home both won Silver awards. See our award winning homes.

A third of the team at D.J. Hewitt Builders recently enjoyed a social weekend on the West Coast, experiencing Lake Brunner's warm waters and some West Coast rain. It was a great opportunity for members of the team to get to know each other better.
Site SafeD.J. Hewitt Builders has joined Site Safe. We are all taking the Site Safe course and introducing new implementations to keep our job sites a safer place.
In 2006, our loyal sub-trades organised and funded a ten-year reunion function in our honour. The reunion was attended by 210 people, all of whom share the D.J. Hewitt Builders' dedication to customer care and consistent quality.
